Crane Removal in Minneapolis

We tackled one of those big, memorable jobs this week — heading out to a Minneapolis home to take down a massive dead elm tree in the backyard that had definitely seen better days. This thing was a giant, and it was clear from the moment we pulled up that this wasn't going to be your average removal. Dead elms can be unpredictable and brittle, and when you're dealing with a tree this size in a backyard setting, there's simply no room for improvisation. We knew right away that bringing in a crane was the right call, and getting that equipment lined up and on site was the first order of business. A removal like this lives and dies by the planning that goes into it before a single cut is made, and we made sure we had every detail locked in before we got started.

Once the crane was in place and the crew was ready to go, the job came together really well. Working in tandem with the crane operator, we carefully took the tree apart piece by piece, with the crane controlling each large section as it came free and placing it safely away from the house and the surrounding yard. A big dead elm swinging over a backyard is not something you want to leave to chance, and the precision and teamwork it takes to pull that off cleanly is something our crew genuinely takes a lot of pride in. By the end of the day the tree was completely down, the yard was cleaned up, and what used to be an enormous dead elm was nothing but a memory.
