Contract Crane Removals

We had an awesome day of contract work this week, teaming up with another tree company in the area to bring our crane and our crew to the table for a serious day of large tree removals. Four large trees were on the list for the day, and when you're talking about trees of this size, having the right equipment and the right people makes all the difference in the world. We got the crane set up and the crew locked in and ready to go, and from there it was just about working through each tree carefully, methodically, and with the kind of communication and teamwork that a job like this demands. There's a real energy to a big crane day like this one, and our crew absolutely thrives in that environment.

One of the four trees was a storm damaged oak that required some extra thought and care before we made a single cut. Storm damaged trees have a way of being unpredictable — compromised wood, unexpected tension, and stress points that aren't always obvious from the outside — and an oak of significant size with storm damage is something you approach with a healthy amount of respect. The crane was a huge asset on that particular tree, giving us the control and precision we needed to bring it down safely and cleanly without any drama. All four trees came down without a hitch, and by the end of the day the job site was cleaned up and everyone went home feeling great about what the crew accomplished together.
