Small Pruning Job in Plymouth

Sometimes tree care isn't about the big dramatic removals — sometimes it's about showing up and giving your trees the attention and care they deserve, and that's exactly what we did this week when we headed out to prune three small trees for a homeowner here in the Minneapolis area. Two of the trees were in need of a good deadwood cleanup, with dead and dying branches that were weighing down the canopy and taking away from the overall health and appearance of the trees. Deadwood pruning is one of those things that makes an immediate and noticeable difference — stripping out all of that dead material lets the tree put its energy into the healthy growth that remains, and visually it's like giving the tree a fresh haircut. Both trees came out looking clean, healthy, and revitalized by the time we were done.

The third tree had a broken limb that needed to be addressed properly before it caused any further damage or created a safety concern. A broken limb left unattended has a way of tearing further down the trunk over time, which can cause much more serious damage to the tree down the road. We made a clean, proper cut that gives the tree the best possible chance to heal well and move forward strong. It's a small thing, but doing it right makes all the difference for the long-term health of the tree.
