Some pruning jobs are straightforward, and some remind you exactly why skill, experience, and careful planning are absolutely everything in this line of work — and this week's job was a great example of the latter. We headed out to prune a tree that had done what trees love to do — grow freely and on its own timeline — and in doing so had worked its branches deeply into a tangle with the primary electrical lines running through the area. Pruning around primary lines is about as technical as tree work gets, requiring a level of precision and situational awareness that doesn't leave any room for shortcuts or careless cuts. Before we touched a single branch, we took the time to study the tree, understand exactly how the limbs were intertwined with the lines, and map out a careful sequence that would let us free the tree from the lines safely and cleanly.

Once we got to work, everything went absolutely perfectly. Branch by branch, we carefully worked through the tangle, making precise cuts that freed the tree from the lines without any disruption whatsoever. It was slow, deliberate, focused work — exactly the kind of work our crew excels at — and when we stepped back and looked at the finished product, the results were outstanding. The tree was beautifully pruned, the primary lines were completely clear, and the whole area looked cleaner and safer than it had in a long time.

Jobs like this are a great reminder that not all tree companies are equipped to handle work around primary electrical lines, and choosing the right crew for the job really does matter. At Rooted Treeworks, we bring the experience, focus, and attention to detail that technical jobs like this demand — and we take enormous pride in getting it right every single time. If you've got a tree tangled up in power lines or any other tricky pruning situation, give us a call. We'd love to show you what we can do!
