Not every tree job is a big removal. Sometimes it's just about giving your trees a little attention before small problems become bigger ones. That's exactly what brought us out to this Minneapolis neighborhood - three trees that needed some targeted pruning care.

Two of the trees had a fair amount of deadwood built up in the canopy. Dead and dying branches don't just look bad - they're dead weight the tree is carrying around for no benefit. Stripping all of that out lets the tree redirect its energy toward the healthy growth that's left. The difference it makes visually is immediate. It's like the tree can breathe again.

The third tree had a broken limb that needed a proper cut. A lot of people don't realize how much damage a broken limb can cause if you just leave it. Over time it can tear further down the trunk, which creates a much bigger wound for the tree to deal with. A clean, well-placed cut gives the tree the best shot at healing up and staying strong long-term.

We used our Leguán 190 spider lift on this job - a compact, track-driven aerial lift that lets us reach up into the canopy without tearing up the lawn. It's the kind of equipment that makes a real difference in how clean and precise the work gets done, especially when you're working in tight residential spaces.

Jobs like this are a good reminder that proactive care goes a long way. You don't need a full removal to make a meaningful impact on your trees. A skilled set of hands and the right approach can keep your trees healthy, safe, and looking sharp for years to come.
